Well City Deadlines
Because the Well City USA initiative is directly linked to WELCOA's local Council movement, it is necessary that the organization or group of people interested in pursuing Well City, first become formally recognized as a WELCOA affiliated local Council. The local Councils provide the necessary infrastructure and leadership for the successful completion of Well City initiatives, and are able to guide and direct the process using the beliefs, vision, mission, and focus shared by both WELCOA and each current local Council.
Dates & Formal Requirements
With that being said, applications to become a local council are by invitation only. WELCOA accepts applications to become a local Council two times per year—January 1st and July 1st.
