Overview

Financial Wellness Coordinator is a detail oriented, health and well-being aficionado who is devoted to providing support to the Wellness Team and our clients with a passion for Financial Wellness. With guidance from the senior members of the team, he or she maintains initiatives that educate, motivate and engage our clients and their employees in all aspects of wellness, but with a special focus on Financial Wellness. The Financial Wellness Coordinator helps his or her clients to Minimize Risk and Maximize Health directly through the programs administered.

Responsibilities

Wellness

  • Responsible for executing and delivering the financial wellness service platform to Assurance clients
  • Provides education and training support for our employer groups (seminars, webinars, one-on-one) on various wellness topics but will focus primarily on financial wellness
  • Collaborates with clients to develop year-long strategies to bring financial wellness solutions to employees
  • Enters and maintains client data in agency management systems in an accurate and timely manner
  • Assists in the coordination of wellness fairs, seminars and other events, and attends as needed
  • Coordinates and implements 100+ flu shot clinics in conjunction with the preferred vendor(s)
  • Initiates and coordinates biometric screening process with clients
  • Collaborates with Wellness Advocates to put together detailed vendor RFP’s and workbooks
  • Follows up with clients with regards to their annual wellness strategy and assist in the execution
  • Populates client surveys and work with clients to deploy these surveys
  • Works with clients to set up and conduct wellness challenges and events which includes client outreach and assistance
  • Supports Wellness Team in meeting preparation and consulting proposals
  • Researches new vendors, products and services in the marketplace
  • Maintains insurance carrier relationships to understand wellness services/resources offered to mutual clients
  • Maintains 401(k) & 403(b) provider relationships to understand financial wellness services/resources offered to mutual clients
  • Maintains client, prospect and information in applicable databases as needed and communication campaigns
  • Assists in the customization and dissemination of various communication campaigns to clients
  • Takes initiative to research and learn new projects
  • Is familiar with and follow agency procedures
  • Performs related duties as necessary or assigned

Execution of Client Service 

  • Supports Assurance Financial Services (AFS) with the execution of financial wellness services to AFS clients
  • Supports Account Managers, Producers, Account Executives and other internal department members to flawlessly execute Assurance’s service strategy for each client, designed to create measurable value and efficiencies in their businesses
  • Processes plan changes, as needed or requested by the client, checking for consistency and documenting in the appropriate system
  • Builds personalized client relationships through demonstrated understanding of the service plan and multiple channels of communication such as phone, email and in-person meetings
  • Leverages insurance knowledge and communication skills to explain coverage terms, program options and other items to clients as needed
  • Works with internal departments to ensure cohesiveness and timeliness of service execution
  • Manages time effectively to prioritize workload, client service requests and service parameters on business processes

Peer Relationships

  • Provides feedback and shares information at team meetings
  • Participates in ongoing scheduled meetings with service team to discuss accounts, renewals, service needs, service platform, etc.
  • Develops successful working relationships with Producers, Account Executives, Account Managers, service team members, managers, carriers and members of other departments
  • Communicates effectively with all members of the Risk Management Services and provides timely and complete information to allow them to effectively manage service execution

Qualifications

Required:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Public speaking experience

Preferred: 

  • Financial background/experience
  • Series 6, 66 or 63/65 licensed
  • Producers License for Life/Health
