Health Promotion Specialist

The Health Promotion Specialist will assist the Medical Director in strategic planning, oversight and execution of health improvement and disease prevention strategies across internal and external customers of Johns Hopkins Medicine. This person will design, develop, and deliver wellness products, programs and services. Working across department lines and across the Hopkins enterprise, the Health Promotion Specialist identifies and implements wellness initiatives to educate, engage and encourage employees, spouses and dependents to achieve health improvement goals. In conjunction with the Chief Medical Director of Employee Health and Well-being, the Health Promotion Specialist will serve as the subject matter expert on workplace wellness and health improvement opportunities in the work environment. The Health Promotion Specialist will also support and collaborate with other Johns Hopkins Medicine affiliates to implement or improve other workplace wellness programs. This position will be a highly visible component of JHM wellness initiatives, and must be able to promote health behaviors and project a positive and supportive image of workplace wellness.
