Marketing Communications Writer

About the team and role:

TOVI Health launched at the SDSU Zip Launchpad in 2013. Since then, we have grown from two guys with a passion for health, to a team of 13 people, dedicated to helping everyone live their healthiest lives. Our Sales and Marketing team is located in La Jolla, California and our Development team is located in Ottawa, Canada. Our culture is built on trust and autonomy. We work hard but know when to take breaks and celebrate successes. 

We are looking for a passionate, full-time Marketing Communications Writer who will be responsible for writing, editing, and publishing content for sales and marketing purposes.

What you’ll be doing: 

• Writing and proofreading all marketing collateral including email campaigns, posters, one-sheets, and presentations
• Creating and maintaining copy for the TOVI Health website
• Creating and maintaining copy for the TOVI app
• Collaborating with our health experts to write content for our blog
• Managing all TOVI Health social media activity, including Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn
• Writing press releases and other outside communications
• Ensuring that all communications reflect the TOVI brand guidelines
• Other duties and responsibilities as needed

What will set you up for success:

• Excellent written communication skills (and enjoy writing!)
• Passion for health and changing lives
• Being a self-starter, detail-oriented, and organized
• Ability to work as a team player
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Marketing, English, Journalism or Communications

Bonus points if you have experience with:

• Graphic design
• HTML/CSS
• Health promotion
