PT (~20 hrs/wk) Administrative Team Member for a wellness company dedicated to skin health

Treatment by Lanshin is a holistic healing studio that specializes in transforming skin health. We are based in Brooklyn, NY. We use Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) to heal skin disorders, and restore healthy function and radiance to skin and body. Our expertise is grounded in the nature-based wisdom of TCM, which we believe will play an important role in the future of skincare and dermatology.

We are a small but rapidly expanding company and this role is for someone who is excited about supporting our growth and, in turn, growing with us! As a member of our administrative team, you will be responsible for supporting our team of practitioners through both hands-on work in the studio (turning over rooms, stocking shelves, checking out clients, etc.) as well as communicating with clients over the phone and e-mail regarding scheduling and other inquiries. We also have a thriving e-commerce store which the administrative team helps to run by fulfilling orders, tracking inventory, providing customer support, etc. Given the diverse responsibilities of this role, the ideal candidate is organized and adaptive, able to seamlessly and independently apply skills to novel tasks. The ideal candidate also takes and applies direction well and always remains level-headed even when there’s a lot to tackle.

This is a 4-day (28 hr +) per week commitment that would ideally begin the week of August 19th with paid training shifts preceding the position’s start date. The shifts we are looking to cover are:

Wednesdays 11AM – 4PM

Thursdays 11AM-4PM

Fridays 3-8PM

Saturdays 10AM – 3PM

Compensation is negotiable and commensurate with experience.

  • Knowledge of skincare and/or Chinese medicine is a plus, but not essential!

  • You travel often; given our small team, we cannot accommodate for frequent travel.
