On-site Coaching and Health Promotion (Contractor)

Location: Orlando, FL

Status: 12 month contract position, 7 hours/week (28 hours/month)

Health Designs is a leader in worksite wellness with a focus on improving employee well-being, productivity and culture. We specialize in wellness assessments, biometric screenings, health coaching, consulting, custom programs and data management. We are seeking a standout Health Coach to provide onsite wellness initiatives for a client company.

Responsibilities:

· Build and foster a long-term relationship with client company and their employees by offering a high level of onsite wellness program support and results-oriented services that fosters both individual and organizational health and well-being

· Create and deliver a variety of services that educates, inspires and supports employee health and well-being and culture enhancement

· Provide intrinsic coaching that fosters support, skill-building, goal-setting and behavior change

· Review health assessment and biometric screening data with special attention to high-risk

· Deliver engaging workshops and educational forums

· Utilize evidence-based initiatives and collaborate with Health Designs’ team in providing positive evaluation/outcomes to client

Qualifications:

· Bachelor’s degree in a health science

· 3-5 years proven experience in designing, implementing and evaluating corporate health programs

· CHES certified a plus

· Coaching certification preferred (especially Intrinsic Coaching)

· Skillful in using coaching methodology to support behavior change required

· Strong and knowledgeable presenter of wellness workshops to groups and enjoys doing so

· Experience measuring biometrics (manual blood pressure, finger stick, glucose)

· Expert communication and interpersonal skills

· Competent with Microsoft Office applications
