Wellbeing Ambassador
We are looking for an experienced Wellbeing Ambassador to work directly with one of our key, large National Account customers to design and implement a comprehensive well-being strategy that promotes a culture of well-being and encourages their professional workforce to be more connected to themselves and their community. Our customer defines well-being in five dimensions: emotional, social connectedness, purpose, financial and physical.
This is a highly collaborative position working directly with the customer’s total rewards team and executive leadership to develop a holistic wellbeing strategy and supporting programming that will embed the five dimensions of well-being across the organization. The Wellbeing Ambassador will work with cross-enterprise partners and other vendors to deliver tools and resources to execute the strategy. This is an excellent opportunity for someone to bring their passion for wellness to a highly-visible role developing and executing a wellness strategy. Key to this role will be demonstrating communication excellence in meeting with internal and external stakeholders and ability and experience using digital tools to create content to help drive a holistic culture of well-being across all five dimensions.
The candidate with the right experience and passion for wellness will be engaged in the following:
-Design a holistic wellbeing strategy
-Recommend wellbeing solutions and services that align with customer’s wellbeing strategy and help drive the desired results across all dimensions
-Proactively assist in the implementation of internal and vendor-provided programs, including identifying and executing tactics to increase awareness and participation/utilization.
-Develop metrics and assess wellbeing program results to promote improved engagement
-Design strategies and high-quality communications to educate and promote use of well-being programs to drive engagement
-Conduct research for best practices, leading and emerging trends aimed at embedding a holistic culture of well-being. Proactively share information about current national wellness and wellbeing initiatives
-When appropriate, travel to customer sites to educate, train and promote well-being programs. Develop strategies for virtual and hybrid approaches
-Develop professional promotional materials to encourage utilization of the various total rewards programs; work with customer’s design team
-Coordinate and facilitate the internal well-being ambassador network to promote well-being in local offices
-Partner with Aetna’s Plan Sponsor Insights clinical and analytical resources on program data analysis, as well as other vendor programs, and identify key drivers of results
-Promote and facilitate onsite/virtual/hybrid wellbeing events at various offices, coordinating with customers and benefits vendors, while answering questions about various programs and encouraging participation in available programs; coordinate referral to appropriate customer programs as necessary
This position can be virtual (work from home) but the candidate must be within travel distance of Montvale, NJ, to work onsite as needed (e.g. onboarding, collaboration sessions, in-person meetings).
This position also requires travel to other US offices to promote well-being programming estimated at 25-50% for planning purposes.
Required Qualifications:
-Min 1-3 years of experience promoting and fostering a culture of well-being in a corporate environment with professional employees located across the country based on a wellness strategy (beyond physical)
-Min 1-3 years of experience with/knowledge of employee benefit programs
-Min 1-3 years demonstrated project management experience
-Must be able to demonstrate communication and presentation excellence in terms of skills (including use of MS PowerPoint) and communication presence
-Experience collaborating with senior leadership; developing content and presenting to executive stakeholders
-Ability to establish highly collaborative relationships within and outside the organization.
-Bachelor’s Degree required, preferred relevant degree

-Wellness program certification e.g. WELCOA, Chapman, Corporate Health and Wellness Association
