Position Summary

Drives the planning, development, implementation and monitoring of our client’s company-wide total wellbeing initiatives.Develops programs that create awareness, motivation and provides tools to employees that help them adapt and maintain a well-rounded healthy lifestyle.Responsible for providing wellness plan administration, participant communications and customer service of our clients plans and provides counsel to client leadership and employees relative to their coverage and options according to established policy.

Position Responsibilities

  • Develop, coordinate, manage, and maintain our client’s total wellbeing programming, including technology and on-site services to reduce health risk, medical costs and encourage healthy lifestyles.
  • Act as driving force behind evaluation, implementation and launch of our client’s wellness programs.
  • Continually evaluate the effectiveness and short/long-term strategy of wellbeing strategy, leveraging ROI statistics and reporting to our clients
  • Develop relationship with carrier account management and other vendors in order to leverage the medical plan for wellness initiatives.
  • Work with our Vice President of Healthcare Strategies to ensure continuity between wellness program and overall client health plan strategies.
  • Manage and track monthly billings and premium payments any wellbeing programs/vendors.
  • Assist in drafting employee communications with respect to wellbeing programming to provide continuing education.
  • Implement wellbeing related activities.Including but not limited to; health screenings, lunch and learn seminars, bloodmobile, flu-shots, fitness classes.
  • Keep abreast of current national wellness and wellbeing initiatives and activities, developing a network of resources and contacts to use as appropriate. Explore ideas and opportunities to personalize the program to increase employee participation.
  • Special projects as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree and 2+ years of related experience in Health Sciences, Corporate Wellness or similar industry
  • Strong presentation skills and comfort speaking to larger groups of people (10-50)
  • Ability to work autonomously and take initiatives while prioritizing to meet business needs and commitments
  • Excellent written and oral communication and interpersonal skills, with strong attention to detail
  • Ability to perform a variety of tasks simultaneously.

Must be able to travel 10-40% of any given month, both locally in Phoenix area and out of state.
