*Select Certificate and Non-Certificate courses from WELCOA are approved for:

  • Human Resource Certification Institute (HRCI®) HR/General recertification hours toward HRCI® designations.
  • Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) Professional Development Credits (PDCs) for SHRM-CP® or SHRM-SCP®.

The purpose of WELCOA’s assessment-based certificate program is to build professional capacity and recognition of instruction and training in worksite wellness. Through WELCOA’s webinars and certification courses, participants acquire specific knowledge, skills and competencies. Mastery of learning objectives is assessed. Training does not expire and acronyms are not provided for use after name. Longer courses may be referred to as a certification course on occasion, however, the participant is awarded a certificate of completion.
