The Business Development Manager is responsible for nurturing sales leads that are populated through our marketing campaigns, generating a strong pipeline of qualified leads and expanding our relationships with benefit consulting firms and wellness industry partners.

What are the responsibilities?

  • Receive and work warm leads from interested clients and consultants
  • Use different communication outlets to work cold leads for potential clients and Broker Partners
  • Work with Sales Teammates to review and expand program offerings 
  • Help create and manage communication campaigns to send to potential leads
  • Lead demonstrations of our Portal and our Programs for potential leads and Broker Partners
  • Put together comprehensive proposals for prospects through the sales process
  • Empathize with prospective clients to make sure you understand their situation and the program that is appropriately suited for them
  • Help maintain a healthy sales pipeline by collecting customer contact information and scheduling appointments for individuals who exhibit purchase intent or potential.
  • Attend sales and finalist meetings either virtual or on-site. 
  • Attend conferences nationally such as WELCOA & SHRM to stay up to date on industry trends
  • Work closely with the Account Management Teams to provide insight to the contract design and contracted programs through implementation.

Requirements

What must you bring to the table?

  • 1 year+ Corporate Wellness or Benefits industry selling experience preferred
  • A proven track record of closing and winning deals
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Outgoing personality with a coachable attitude
  • Highly motivated
  • Ability to travel nationally and a valid drivers license. 

What is the work environment?

  • This job routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, etc.
  • This position is a fully remote position, reporting into our home office in Malvern, Pa. Local candidates can have the option of hybrid work in office and remote if desired.
  • A dedicated workspace, free from distraction, is a must. 
  • Computer and VPN access are provided. Employee must provide their own internet access of 10mpbs or higher

  • This position\’s core hours will be Monday through Friday 9am to 5pm ET.
