HEALTH COACH – 12951 OPT (Work as Needed)

The Health Coach will assist with assessing, planning, designing, and implementing the Wellness Works or Workforce Health program, as well as presenting on various health topics to corporate clients. This individual will assist and interact with departments to develop services that meet the needs of Froedtert Health customers. Travel is required. Other duties as assigned.

The person in this role will visit different organizations in the community to perform wellnes health screens, evaluations as contracted by the different companies. hours could be very early even as early as 5:15am hours are flexible must be available

Summary:

Three to five years health education/program development/community relations/presentation experience is required. Healthcare organization experience is preferred. Bachelor’s degree in health/community education, exercise physiology, or related healthcare/wellness field is required. Master’s degree is preferred and emphasis in health care field is preferred. Valid Driver’s License is required. American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support for the Healthcare. rovider (BLS) or an AHA approved equivalent is required within three months of hire. Wellness or Health Coaching certification endorsed by NSHC, ACE or Wellcoaches is preferred.

Other information:

Working knowledge of personal computer and various audiovisual equipment including Microsoft Suite. Demonstrates evidence of group facilitation, integrity, initiative, written and verbal communication skills.
