Onsite Bi-Lingual WELLNESS COACH – Los Angeles P/T

World Wide Wellness is searching for a part-time Bi-Lingual Wellness Coach. As a Wellness coach, you will be responsible for performing onsite wellness coaching for employees of World Wide Wellness’ clients in accordance with our wellness coaching policies and procedures.
Under the guidance of the Lead Wellness Coach, the Wellness Coach will accomplish the following tasks:
Educate Participants on areas that are within scope of practice and refer the Participants to their Primary Care Physician when the topic goes beyond our mission at World Wide Wellness.

Utilize health education as the cornerstone in creating lasting lifestyle change.

Motivate and empower employees to take responsibility for their health in order to reduce risk factors for disease.

Hold the participant responsible and accountable as an active decision maker.

Respect and honor Participant utilizing active listening skills

Abide by HIPPA (Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act) to take reasonable steps to ensure the confidentiality of communication with individuals.

Outreach to new employees within a coaching group.

Record thorough progress notes of every session via WellnessConnect portal to fully capture the conversation, goals and any barriers.

Provide reporting to the Lead Wellness Coach on coaching activity including: # of completed appointments and # of missed appointments.

Provide weekly time sheets with hours worked and what tasks were completed during those times, along with coaching activity report.
Required Hours:
-
20 hours/week, flexible schedule based on client needs in 4 hours blocks between the hours of 10 AM to 4 PM, must be available for 4 hours/day Monday – Friday.

Candidate Requirements:

Minimum of 2 years’ experience in Onsite Wellness Coaching

Mature, professional, creative Coach able to help workforce ages 30-60 through health challenges, ergonomic knowledge. Proactively engages employees to participate in coaching

Bi-lingual in Spanish
Education/ Experience/ Certifications:

Health Science or related Bachelor’s degree
