Compensation: Based on location and experience – $11 to $19 per hour

Hours: Flexible on how many hours per week, min. 20 – max. 35

ABOUT THIS ROLE 

We are looking for an eager and motivated Sales & Marketing Intern to join our team at FitPros, a leading corporate wellness service provider! 

FitPros empowers employees to prioritize their health with unique onsite and virtual programming. We elevate the lives of employees and cultivate a healthier and more productive workplace.

In this role, you will have the opportunity not only to gain hands-on experience in sales and marketing but also to explore other facets of our business through cross-functional shadowing. You will work alongside a passionate team and gain hands-on experience in a fast-scaling company that makes wellbeing services available to people wherever they are.

In our eight-year history, 90% of our interns were offered a permanent position within the company following the internship.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Market Research: Conduct market research to identify customer needs, industry trends, and competitor analysis to inform marketing and product strategies.

 

Lead Generation: Assist in lead generation efforts through outreach activities such as email campaigns, webinars, and social media engagement.

Content Creation: Contribute to the creation of marketing materials including client flyers, Pro presentations, and email newsletters.

Campaign Analysis: Analyze marketing campaigns and sales data to measure effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.

Social Media Management: Grow our social media presence on LinkedIn by creating engaging content, monitoring interactions, and analyzing performance metrics. 

Sales Support: Assist the sales and client success teams with administrative tasks, sales presentations, and participating in client meetings as needed.

 

Customer Relationship Management (CRM): Updating and maintaining our CRM system with accurate information on leads, prospects, and customers.

 

Product: Attend virtual sessions and participate in our app-based challenges to conduct quality assurance reviews.

 

Cross-Functional Shadowing:

If other areas of our business are  of interest, you will have the option to extend your internship to shadow different teams within our organization, including:

  • Operations: Gain insights into our day-to-day operations, Pro placement, and technology management.
  • Product: Learn about our content and app development, roadmap planning, and user experience design.
  • Design: Explore the creative side of our business by shadowing our design team and contributing to visual content creation.

 

REQUIREMENTS

  • Our ideal candidate is currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree program, preferably in Marketing, Business Administration, Product Management, Health Care or a related field.

  • Mature communication skills, both written and verbal.

  • Highly motivated with a passion for learning and a desire to explore different areas of business.

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

  • Previous experience with Hubspot, Asana, Google Suite, LinkedIn, 

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with social media platforms.

  • Previous experience in sales, marketing, or related fields is a plus but not required.
