Well-Being Consultant (Dedicated Customer Opportunity)

Fundamental components of the role include:
-Knowledgeable of the customer’s benefits program and how it is intended to support the customer’s broader approach to total rewards
-Assist in the development, coordination, management, and maintenance of well-being programming to reduce health risk, medical costs, and encourage healthy lifestyles within the customer population
-Recommend well-being solutions and services that align with the customer’s needs – including diversity and inclusion initiatives – and help drive the desired results
– Focus on driving engagement in preventive services, including understanding data and trends, setting a strategic plan, and driving/assessing results
-Assess well-being program results and discuss with the customer to promote improved engagement in health and well-being programs
-Proactively share information about current national well-being initiatives
-Partner with Aetna’s Plan Sponsor Insights clinical and analytic resources on program data analysis, plan performance and identification of key drivers of results
-Be a liaison between Aetna, the Aetna account team, Aetna clinical operational team(s) and the customer contacts to facilitate implementation and promotion of well-being programs
-Identify local and community medical and well-being resources to incorporate into the customer’s population health strategy and locally augment Aetna clinical programs
-Support the customer’s benefits team in various well-being events to answer questions about well-being programs and encourage participation in available programs; coordinate referral to appropriate customer programs as necessary
-Travel to various customer sites to educate, train and promote well-being programs as needed

Required Qualifications:

-Excellent communication and presentation skills
-Strong project management skills
-Strong problem solving skills and attention to detail; experience with consultative analytics
-Strong background in employer health promotion and well-being
-Strong background and fundamental knowledge of the healthcare industry
-Knowledge of medical management products, programs and services
-Ability to establish highly collaborative relationships within and outside the organization

Preferred Qualifications:

Wellness Councils of America certification desired or similar wellness certification

Education:

The minimum level of education desired for candidates in this position is a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferably in Health Promotion, Public Health, Exercise Science and Well-being or related course of study.
