The City of Chesapeake is seeking an enthusiastic, creative, self-starter to establish and maintain a wellness program for employees and retirees. The goal of the wellness program is to save money and escalate ROI by increasing the health of individuals through quality education, health presentations, physical activity/training and life skills needed to make high-impact, sustainable health related decisions.

Position will be responsible for coordinating and communicating wellness program information to employees and retirees by researching available resources and working closely with the health insurance vendor.

Requires a Bachelor’s degree or any equivalent combination of education and experience in human resources, management, public administration, or a closely related field and four years of related experience. Proficiency with Microsoft Office is also required.
