Take this opportunity to enhance work-site wellness for our clients, as well as our outreach efforts to promote improved wellness in the communities we serve: Under the direction of the executive director of Fitness & Wellness, the professional we select will be responsible for planning, developing, and overseeing the implementation of the Centegra Associate Wellness plan and programming, Worksite Wellness sales and service, and mobile screening efforts within the community that Centegra serves.

Duties include but are not limited to the following:

  • Leading the internal wellness initiative for Centegra Health System.
  • Establishing annual wellness goals, and promoting a philosophy of wellness with CHS associates.
  • Collaborating with leadership, medical staffs, and external providers to integrate wellness programs.
  • Meeting targets for the service line as it relates to the wellness plan.
  • Leading Worksite Wellness sales and service, including initiation of and participation in marketing and communication opportunities.
  • Taking responsibility for the fiscal solvency, growth and productivity of the service line.
  • Leading the Community Wellness initiative for Centegra Health System, including marketing and communication opportunities and monitoring outcomes/performance improvement.
  • Overseeing the immunization clinics that Centegra provides for the community, and taking responsibility for the fiscal solvency, growth, and productivity of the mobile screening unit.
  • Developing new programs and enhancing existing services to meet the needs of communities, patients, and physicians.

Required Credentials:

  • Bachelor\’s degree in a healthcare-related field or health education.
  • Ability to plan, coordinate, implement and evaluate programs to impact attitudes, knowledge, and behaviors for improved health, and meet schedules and deadlines.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, including leadership and motivational abilities essential to effective interaction with associates, medical staff, and community/corporate members.
  • Ability to develop creative concepts and innovative techniques to reach populations with appropriate and useful health information.
  • Ability to work well independently and professionally.
  • Strong organizational and public-speaking skills essential to coordinating and directing work flow and motivating others to accomplish objectives.
  • Strong analytical skills to analyze data; and writing skills for development of reports, correspondence, and program marketing efforts.

Preferred Credentials:

  • Master\’s degree in a healthcare-related field or health education.
  • Five or more years of experience in a healthcare-related field or public health.
  • Extensive knowledge of the principles of health behavior, health information, preventive medicine, and epidemiology.
